Call for Volunteers MW:M 2023

Hi, good to have you here – and thanks for being interested in supporting MW:M23!   Most Wanted: Music 2023 will take place again in the beautiful Kulturbrauerei from 14th to 16th of November 2023. We have plenty of possibilities to be part of the event crew and to experience the whole journey: from setting up, being part of the crew, and finally dismantling everything again. Before you decide to apply, please read the following: The MW:M Conference will be split into three parts, where you can take part as a volunteer:
  • the Listen to Berlin: Awards (14th Nov),
  • the MW:M Convention (15th & 16th Nov), including decentralised MW:M partner satellites,
  • the MW:M Live Showcase Festival (16th Nov).
    • Additionally we plan on having set up (13th & 14th) & dismantling (16th Nov) where we will also need support.
    • Each volunteer will work two shifts of 4-6 hours – these shifts can either be on the same day, or on different days.
    • When you are not working, you will have free access to the whole event space and will be able to enjoy the program.
    • There will be an onboarding meeting for everyone 1-3 weeks before the conference, which you must attend. It might be virtual or in-person.
    • There will be a walk-through during the set up days which you also must attend to know the area you are responsible for.
    • If you are coming from abroad, unfortunately we can not cover your accommodation and travel costs.

Prefered tasks*

  • Set-up assistance (13th & 14th of Nov)
  • Streaming Platform Support (14th – 16th of Nov) – You can do home office & work from everywhere with a stable internet connection.
  • Registration (15th & 16th of Nov)
  • All-arounder (13th – 16th of Nov)
  • Speaker support (15th & 16th of Nov)
  • Stage technical support (15th & 16th of Nov) – Some basic technical knowledge (A/V) is preferred.
  • Social Media coverage (14th – 16th of Nov) – only if you have a good camera and experience with social media management!
  • Room management (15th & 16th of Nov)
