Invited But Not Included: Rethinking Communication, Diversity and Access

Inviting people from a wide range of backgrounds into music and culture is one thing; creating spaces where they can actually feel seen and welcome is another. In this informal Ask Me Anything, diversity manager and communication strategist Marcel Wicker teams up with cultural manager and author Lara M. Gahlow (co-founders of Soft Communication) to explore how communication can support diversity, while also asking where it reaches its limits. Participants should come armed with questions, experiences and challenges to share. The conversation will be open, practical and shaped entirely by what the audience wants to discuss.
