Silvia is a creative and strategy director, cultural project manager, artist manager and A&R.
Working through her project NoOx Worldwide – which aims to bridge Italy, the Afro Community, New Generations and Sub Saharan Africa (starting from Senegal and Mozambique) – in the music industry. Silvia has pioneered the Afro Urban music market in Italy since 2018.
She is a social innovator and into global connections, valorisation of the diversities and identities (with a focus on intersectionality), and decolonisation and de-stereotyping of narratives.
She is producer and main character of the ‘DARE: to take that first step’ documentary and community event, touring around Europe and Africa.
Silvia is also project manager of La Nuova Zena, a research and development project dedicated to local music industries, with a particular focus on the Genoese and Ligurian scenes.
She is also co-creative director of the Mozambique Music Hackathon and Electropark Festival; 2024 Ale Per Sempre X Jazz Re:Found Bursary Winner, 2024 European Music Council Fellow, 2023 Undertaking The Business In Culture Italy-Africa Fellow, 2022 Keychange Innovator and 2022 Genova Global Goals Awards Winner, 2021 European Music Exporter, 2020 ALT POWER MUSIC LIST – Shesaid.so; Certified: Music Industry Essentials at Billboard X Yellowbrick (NYU Clive Davis Institute) and Bachelor graduated in Arts, Performing Arts, Events & Cultural Enterprises Management at Università degli Studi di Firenze.
