Nigâr is a sound and music therapist who has studied the piano and classical music since age four, and has expanded into a wide array of instruments and vocal work.
She holds a Master’s degree in social work – specialising in addictive behaviours – and has worked part-time in the psychosocial healthcare team of an assisted living facility providing psychiatric rehabilitation.
She co-created DUYU, a music house in Berlin, with a curated collection of instruments from all around the world, offering events, musical workshops, and instrument restoration for all players, listeners, and the curious.
