Nazen Carneiro

Nazen Carneiro has built a career spanning more than two decades in the music industry, evolving from festival entrepreneurship to becoming one of the most recognisable voices in electronic music journalism. 

He has been writing for DJ Mag Brasil since 2018 and, in 2023, was appointed Editor-in-Chief. In 2025, Carneiro became the first Brazilian journalist to write the cover feature for DJ Mag UK. His writing also extends across the DJ Mag network in Latin America, Germany and Mexico, and he contributes to Mixmag in Brazil and Spain.

Alongside his editorial work, Carneiro established NZPR, a public relations agency that has been recognised as the Best Entertainment PR Agency in Brazil and whose international clients include prominent artists, record labels, festivals, clubs and booking agencies.

As a broadcaster, he has hosted over 100 radio shows, further expanding his role as a cultural connector within the electronic music community. Today, he continues to publish across multiple outlets.
