DIY 3.0 – Reimagining What's Possible

How can artists and promoters redesign the live performance landscape beyond the Spotify–social media matrix? DIY 3.0 explores alternatives to a music scene driven by algorithms and audience statistics, placing artistic value, shared experience and community at the center.
Led by Łukasz Polowczyk and Melissa Perales, this practical workshop invites participants to rethink where and how live music can happen: from bookstores, cafés and other atypical spaces to collaborations with other art forms and formats. Through playful ideation, guided individual exercises and small-group work, participants develop ways to adapt an album or set for different settings, pool resources and share workloads. Groups present their ideas and discuss how to put them into practice, with independence and sustainability in mind.
