Booking Agent / Manager / Lecture
Triangle Booking GmbH
Firmly rooted in the electronic music industry for over 23 years, Katty Lange is a trained bank clerk who has established herself in many areas of the music industry.
Focus, assertiveness, strategic thinking combined with love and passion for music accompany her career, which began in 2004 with the record label Tresor Records.
Since she has worked in multiple areas from label work to night management. In 2007 she took over the label management at the Detroit label, 430West and has been the artist manager of the live act Octave One since then.

In 2012 she began work as a booking agent at the Berlin booking agency Kinetic-am. In 2016 she founded the booking agency Triangle with her 3 long-term business partners. The long-term and close cooperation with her artist gave her the opportunity to look beyond the musical horizon and to realise various further projects in art and culture.

Her principles are strength and calm for every situation, as well as an open look ahead, while the main focus always remains: the realizations of the artist and her employees.

Session

Inside the Promoter's Year

Promoters carry a significant share of the financial risk in live music and operate in conditions that have become harder year on year. Talent costs have moved. Ticketing has changed. Audience behaviour around buying tickets in advance has changed. The promoters building durable businesses are the ones doing the work this session captures. The session is honest about money and specific about the practices that produce a sustainable business

The Human Behind the Artist: Supporting Artists Through Crisis and Change

A 2026 survey of more than 2,000 independent artists and industry professionals found that 86% report significant mental strain or creative burnout. Behind that number sit people expected to keep creating, touring, promoting and staying visible while carrying personal crises, mental health challenges, grief, displacement or the weight of conflict elsewhere in the world.
The question this session asks is what the people around them do about it. Managers, agents and promoters shape an artist’s calendar, workload and exposure, and those decisions are where empathy either exists in practice or does not. It also asks what the dancefloor itself already provides, since community and care have been part of rave culture far longer than the industry has had language for either. As we are heading to an age shaped by AI, emotional intelligence remains one of our most valuable human strengths.
