Fikri Anıl Altıntaş

Fikri Anıl Altıntaş lives and works in Berlin. He publishes texts in Die Zeit and taz, among others, dealing with topics of masculinity and antifeminism. In 2023, his debut book “Im Morgen ein Birnbaum” (A Pear Tree in the Morning) was published by btb Verlag. In 2024 his poetry collection Geografie der Unruhe (Geography of Unrest) was published by Sukultur Verlag. His latest novel, Zwischen uns liegt August (Between Us Lies August), was published this summer by C. H. Beck. This was followed by contributions to Deutschlandfunk Kultur and ZDF, performances at Schauspiel Hannover, and texts for theatre stages, including the Berliner Ensemble. He is also an active volunteer as a #HeForShe Deutschland ambassador for UN Women Deutschland.
