30+ acts, 4 venues, 2 days, 1 ticket – MW:M Live 2025 is almost here.
On 12 and 13 November, more than 30 hand-picked emerging artists from Berlin and beyond will perform across four venues at the Kulturbrauerei in the heart of the city. Kesselhaus, Maschinenhaus, Panda Platforma, and Frannz Club will thrum to the sound of thrilling new music – and with just one ticket (€25), you can experience them all.
Now we’re unveiling the MW:M Live line-up – here’s what awaits you:
Spotlight: North Rhine-Westphalia
This year’s Focus Land is North Rhine-Westphalia, presented by PopBoard NRW and popNRW. Expect a vibrant showcase of emerging voices from one of Germany’s most musically diverse regions.

MARNELE’s introspective and thoughtful songs will appeal to anyone exploring identity and belonging – and after a summer of festival slots, you can catch her before her first headline tour in 2026.
VAVUNETTHA has created her very own genre: Seasoned Pop. Spiced with influences from her Tamil roots and her upbringing in Cologne, her music wraps serious topics in a cheeky, curious sound.
Tape Head & NONI’s live show is building a reputation as an emotional, energetic experience, and coming off the back of a packed-out tour, they’re in prime shape to impress the MW:M LIVE crowd.
LISTEN TO BERLIN & LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH
Berlin’s creative pulse beats stronger every year. This year’s MW:M Live line-up features 21 artists from the capital, representing the city’s musical future through the LISTEN TO BERLIN and LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH programmes.

Vyka, part of the last year’s LISTEN TO BERLIN COMPILATION, has been picking up plaudits everywhere she goes: highlighted by tastemakers on FluxFM Radar and Radioeins Lokalmatadoren, performing at Sweden’s Future Echoes Festival, and played on DLF Nova, Radio COSMO, and NDR Blue.
Haus F, selected for LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH, are a young, energetic indie-pop band from the south of the city. From loud, intense sounds to emotional ballads and airy indie-pop, their music is somewhere between late-night euphoria and the loneliness that follows.
Artists from across Europe
Berlin is where cultures collide and creativity thrives – and MW:M Live brings that energy to the stage with artists from across Europe.

DasRADIAL (presented by Kultur | lx – Arts Council Luxembourg) switch freely between gliding synths and driving beats to tackle the burning issues of our time: digital mass surveillance, climate change, the rise of the far right, fast fashion, and drug culture — relentless, multi-layered, and direct.
WYFE (presented by SoundCzech – Czech Music Office) make “black and white music that makes you smell the scent of colours.” The band has toured extensively internationally and will release their new album in November.
Hayes & Y (presented by Bulgarian Music Association, Next Generation EU & PVU) have grabbed prestigious airplay in both the UK (BBC 6 Music, BBC Manchester) and in Germany (KEXP, Deutschlandfunk Kultur), releasing their second album “Departures” after performing at Primavera in Barcelona and InMusic in Croatia.
Pistamashina (presented by Bulgarian Music Association, Next Generation EU & PVU) make music that isn’t easy to categorise, but is easy to love. Expect a mix of electronica and glitchy pop, delivered with the occasional cinematic flourish.
From Berlin and Beyond – it’s all at MW:M Live
“We’re not just interested in genres, but in voices: unique, idiosyncratic, new. Berlin is the resonant space, but the inspiration comes from many directions,” says Jonas Seetge, Head of MW:M Live – and this year’s diverse line-up is packed with independent innovators and experimental voices.

Alex Stolze (presented by United Sounds) is a true individual: shifting seamlessly between stark modern classical works, fiercely intelligent electronica, and off-kilter indie pop. Expect Middle-Eastern scales, complex polyrhythms, unusual time signatures and addictive, danceable beats –plus the sound of his bespoke five-string violin – to create a uniquely textured sound.
