Robert John Hope

Robert John Hope is an Irish, Berlin-based singer-songwriter whose music moves between Americana, alternative folk and indie rock, combining distinctive vocals with thoughtful songwriting and atmospheric arrangements. The British Mail on Sunday praised his vocal range, while Rolling Stone Germany described his music as “Americana with real greatness and a lot of sensitivity.” Before embarking on his solo career, Hope fronted Senakah, performing over 300 concerts across 40 US states, including appearances at SXSW and the legendary Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood. His solo debut, Plasticine Heart (2021), showcased his evocative songwriting, while his second album, It Sparks, released in May 2025 through Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus, further develops his distinctive blend of Americana and alternative rock.
