Isasi Isasi & Luna Carlos

Isasi Isasi is a Cuban music producer and artist currently living in Berlin. Born and raised in La Habana, he grew up listening to Cuban classics such as Habana Abierta, Irakere, and Elito Revé. Though his love for music began early, it wasn’t until later in life — after moving to Berlin — that he decided to produce professionally.
The energy of the city and easy access to the internet sent him on a journey of self-education and self-discovery, drawing him deeper into his African roots and the Afro-Cuban sound. The result is a music that blends urban rhythms, Latin roots, and African spirit.
For this performance, Isasi Isasi is joined by Luna Carlos Armengod as vocalist, bringing together his solo material with productions from his ongoing duo project Isasi Armengod — a live set that merges the two sides of his artistic world into one.
