Egon Werler

At 20, Berlin singer-songwriter Egon Werler is making his mark with emotionally direct lyrics and an unmistakable voice. Raised in a creative environment, he took to the stage at Berlin’s Friedrichstadt-Palast at an early age, spending more than a decade in its youth ensemble. A self-taught singer, pianist and guitarist, Egon has followed his own path since winning The Voice Kids in 2021 — much to his own surprise — and boldly turning down the record deal that came with it. Authenticity, creativity and a clear artistic vision have guided him ever since.
In 2023, Egon was the youngest recipient of the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s award for emerging songwriters, further establishing him as one of his generation’s most promising talents. Three headline tours, a summer on the road supporting Silbermond and support slots for the likes of HE/RO and Christoph Sakwerda have shown that he is every bit as compelling on stage as he is on record.
His music moves between candid, heart-wrenching ballads and indie-pop bangers with an effortless vocal flow and all the makings of a summer hit. With his second EP already released, Egon continues to work tirelessly on new projects.
Acting has also been part of his creative life for years. In 2021, he shot his first feature film, Alfons Zitterbacke – Endlich Klassenfahrt!, and now regularly appears in film and television.
Where others pause for breath, Egon is only just getting started.

Egon Werler will perform as part of the LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH SHOWCASE on 4 November 2026 at House of Music.
