Chimeri

Chimeri is a German-Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer based in Berlin. Drawn early to the mysticism of the blues, she later trained in jazz vocals in Hamburg before moving to Accra, Ghana, where she began writing and releasing her own music in 2024.
Rooted in classic soul, jazz, and a rather alternative approach, her music combines intricate arrangements with a resonant, expressive voice. Drawing on influences from seemingly different musical worlds, her songs balance the familiar with the unexpected, moving between intimacy and unpredictability.
Her lyrics find the inexplicable in ordinary life: relationships, trivial self-doubts, disguised magic and the uneasy distance between what we feel and what we can control. She is currently developing her debut EP, Loose Changes, with Berlin-based musicians, planned for early 2027.

Chmeri will perform a 10-minute live set as part of the Artist Meetup. An evening of new music, exchange and connections.
