Melissa Kolukisagil is a curator and cultural producer who has been active in the independent music and cultural scene for many years. In 2020, she founded İÇ İÇE, a festival and platform for contemporary Anatolian music and diasporic perspectives, which she continues to direct artistically to this day. In this role, she develops and funds projects in collaboration with various funding institutions and cultural partners. For several years, she also led the project “Diversitygerechtes Ausgehen in Berlin” (Inclusive Nightlife in Berlin) at the Clubcommission, where she developed formats and strategies for a nightlife scene that is more sensitive to issues of discrimination. Since 2026, she has been working as a curatorial developer for live programming and collaborations at the Marinehaus of the Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin, where she is helping to establish a new cultural venue.
