Aziz Sarr

Aziz Sarr is a Berlin-born DJ, event organiser and entrepreneur of Senegalese descent. Since 2011 he has been building platforms for African music in Germany, founding the Freak de l’Afrique collective in 2016 — one of the most established forces in African club culture in the country. As a DJ he performs under the names Wallizz and Walter Griot. In 2024 he opened Maaya Berlin, a multidisciplinary cultural and event space on the RAW Gelände dedicated to global music, live performance and community.
