Originally from Barcelona and now based in Bremen, Xavi (he/him) is a researcher and creative whose fascination with playlists has shaped his work at the intersection of music, media, and identity.
He holds a research-based MA in Digital Media and Society from the University of Bremen, where his thesis on playlist curation received top marks. As an extension of this research, he created The Playlist Journal, a project dedicated to raising awareness about playlists as tools for self-regulation and self-expression.
Xavi is set to collaborate with Voices: A World Forum for Music Therapy and serves as a media outlet partner with º1824 (Universal Music Group).
