LAMIA
Eleanor is a musician, producer and practice-based researcher. She creates electronic music under the alias LAMIA. As a Music Master’s (MMus) graduate of Goldsmiths University of London — where she held two scholarships — she also studied Music at Leeds Conservatoire (BA) and Music Production Catalyst Berlin (BA). Eleanor’s creative practice applies Post-Jungian methods to Popular Music production and composition, while her written research explores Popular Music digital fandom, the deep web, and participatory fan communities. Eleanor also collaborated in deep web research for the Digital Methods Initiative, a world-leading internet research group at the University of Amsterdam. Under her artist project LAMIA, Eleanor has delivered standout performances at iconic venues including Berghain Kantine, BBC Introducing Live Sessions, and The Berlin Music Video Awards. Her music is supported by CLASH, DMY Magazine, KALTBLUT and BBC Radio 1’s Jaguar. Her “Cobra (prod. LAMIA)” music video was selected for the ‘Best Low Budget’ category at the Berlin Music Video Awards, receiving accolades for its creativity and innovation.
