Marcela is an audio engineer, doctoral researcher, educator, and public speaker known for making complex music production and immersive audio concepts accessible and practical. She specialises in bridging the worlds of academia and industry, with a focus on immersive audio and creative workflows. Currently completing a PhD in Audio Engineering at the University of Surrey, she leads educational initiatives and teaches internationally, empowering the next generation of music professionals. Her work as Founder and Executive Producer of The Immersive Lounge is grounded in a commitment to creativity, knowledge-sharing, and shaping a more inclusive and forward-thinking music industry.
