London born and raised, Cass has been part of the city’s scene for over a decade. Former NTS Radio resident and label owner, she’s now one of the key organisers and figureheads of Playbody – serving as a resident DJ, music programmer and core team member.
Cass is an integral part of Playbody, a party and architectural design collective redefining queer nightlife by blending intimate rave experiences with immersive artistic expression. Since its debut, Playbody has been a powerful force in London’s underground scene, with Cass playing an instrumental role in shaping its vision.
They use design, sound, a community to rethink the relationship between bodies, space, and care. Emerging from queer nightlife, Playbody creates environments that prioritise trust, vulnerability, and shared presence. Rooted in collaboration and community, Playbody challenges traditional separations between audience and performer, turning both club and institutional settings—like V&A East Storehouse—into spaces for embodied dialogue and radical intimacy.
