Every year, our Call for Proposals gives you – the community – the chance to help shape the programme of Most Wanted: Music. And once again, your response was incredible: we received 42 submissions, 12 of which will be part of MW:M25. The result is a vibrant mix of workshops, talks, installations and lightning sessions that bring bold visions and fresh ideas to the stage.
Here’s a first look at what you can expect this November:

100 Minuten Zukunft: Building Scenarios for the Music Industry in 2050
Workshop / NEXTTECH
What will music sound like in 25 years? Moderator Ferdinand Linke will guide participants through a scientific-creative sprint to imagine utopian and dystopian futures for music. The session explores how music might be created, shared, and experienced in 2050 – and how these visions can help us make better decisions today.
Navigating the Current US Artist Visa Landscape: What Touring Artists Need to Know in 2025
Presentation / BUSINESS
Touring the US is a dream for many artists – but the visa process can be daunting. This session breaks down the latest policy shifts, increased scrutiny, and practical tips to help international performers plan their American tours with confidence.
Visual Identity: Capturing Your Sound in Story
Workshop / BUSINESS
Social media connects artists directly with their audience, but standing out requires powerful visuals. Photographer Yvonne Hartmann will show how to translate a brand into engaging imagery, with hands-on tips for composition, lighting, and color that work for both photo and video. The best part? A phone is all you need.

Mom’s Got Talent: Innovation from Within
Lightning Talk / SOCIAL IMPACT
How do parents transform the music industry? This lightning talk session shines a spotlight on resilience and innovation in the face of care work, family and fast-paced industry demands. Expect inspiring stories, fresh perspectives, and a celebration of balance in music and life.
Shaping Transformation: Urban Development, Tourism, Club Culture & Engagement in Berlin
Fishbowl / SOCIAL IMPACT
Berlin’s nightlife and cultural spaces are under pressure. In this Fishbowl Talk with Emiko Gejic, we’ll explore how rising rents, urban development, and cultural loss impact communities – and how civic engagement can help preserve and transform the city we love.
Accessibility in Live Music: Making it a Piece of Cake
Installation / NEXTTECH
The collective A Piece of Cake reimagines music tech with a prototype playback pedal designed for emerging artists from diverse backgrounds – intuitive, inclusive, and laptop-free. At MW:M25 you’ll get to test it yourself, meet the team and guest artists, and explore what accessible live music technology can look like.
These are just the first sessions confirmed through our community’s proposals. Together, they embody the MW:M25 motto TRANSFORM! and set the stage for dialogue, imagination, and action.
