Seasoned Pop stands for the many-layered influences that shape VAVUNETTHA’s music. On one hand, the term represents her Tamil roots combined with her upbringing in Germany — quite literally, “spiced pop music.” On the other, it reflects the ever-changing seasons and the accompanying feeling of growing up.
Her sound blends pop anthems with head-nodding beats. Through profound lyrics, VAVUNETTHA explores complex themes such as addiction, depression, and the search for human connection. She manages to wrap serious topics in an apparently light sound, marked by a cheeky and curious tone.
Since 2021, she has been releasing her own music and has long been self-producing many of her songs entirely.
