FAQ's
What is the Speaker Registration Form and what does it cover?
It’s a one-time form you must complete: it collects your bio, headshot, session title, and AV preferences; everything the team needs to onboard you fully. You only fill it out once, so please be thorough.
Where and when does MW:M26 take place?
MW:M26 runs November 3–5, 2026.
The Convention–where all speaker sessions take place–is held on November 4–5 at nhow Hotel Berlin (Stralauer Allee 3, 10245 Berlin).
Your exact session date, time, and room will be confirmed around late September and shared via email and on this Speaker Hub.
When do I need to submit the form, and what happens if I miss the deadline?
The form deadline is 7 days after you receive your Onboarding email. If you miss it, your Speaker Manager will follow up with a reminder. Late submissions can delay your session details and profile going live on the Speaker Hub, so please prioritise it.
Can I update my bio or headshot after submitting the form?
Yes, contact your Speaker Manager directly and they will update the record. Once your profile has been proofread by the copywriting team and approved, changes may take a little longer to reflect on the website and in the event app (Swapcard).
Why do I need to confirm the Speaker Agreement?
MW:M is partially funded by public money, so we’re required to follow strict financial and administrative rules–particularly around fees, travel reimbursements, and documentation. The Speaker Agreement is the single source of truth for the terms of your participation. If questions come up later about logistics or your specific arrangements, this is the document to refer back to.
How and when do I confirm the Agreement?
The Agreement is sent with your Onboarding email, as part of the Speaker Registration Form. Please review the terms and confirm the mandatory checkboxes within 7 days. If you haven’t confirmed by then, your Speaker Manager will follow up with a reminder.
Can I request changes to the Agreement terms?
Your Agreement reflects the specific terms of your participation. If anything in your Agreement does not match what was discussed with the Curator, please reach out to your Speaker Manager directly before signing.
When will I find out my session date, time, and room?
Session details are confirmed approximately five weeks before the conference, around late September 2026. You’ll receive a second email with your confirmed date, time, room, co-speakers, and moderator. These details will also be on your Speaker Hub and updated there if anything changes.
I’m participating in more than one session. How is that communicated?
Your different roles (e.g. speaker in one panel, moderator in another) are tracked separately in our system. Both sessions will appear in the second email, Swapcard and on the Speaker Hub. If anything looks incorrect, contact your Speaker Manager, they can check and correct your session statuses directly.
