Diego Meijers

Diego Meijers (36) is co-founder of Club RAUM, Amsterdam’s queer-run cultural space that opened in 2024. Housed in a former bookbinding factory near Sloterdijk, RAUM is designed as a safe, free space for the LGBTQIA+ community, combining high-quality sound, bold electronic music programming, and a commitment to inclusivity and care. The club hosts both international and local talent, alongside talks, workshops, and community events that push the boundaries of club culture. Meijers is also co-founder of SPIELRAUM, Amsterdam’s renowned queer party that helped pave the way for RAUM’s creation.
