Thomas Heher, born in 1974, has been active since 1996 in the cultural sector, working in the field of music business and as a music and film curator. He developed the concept for Waves Festival and Conference and is, as the director of the festival, also responsible for programming.
Previously Thomas worked as the chief editor of pop culture magazine TBA and was co-founder of pop culture magazine The Gap, as well as the literature magazine Volltext.
Before that he used to run the Viennese record label P.A.M. Records and collected lots of experience when promoting concerts, readings and film screenings – and as a musician as well.
