Samuel Johnstone is a sound artist and researcher using sound as a tool of artistic inquiry to explore ecological spaces, and to sound out to the messy and noisy ways in which human activity is embedded within these spaces. He has developed works with and for the Botanic Garden Höxter, Darmstädter Ferienkurse, Festspielhaus Dresden, Konzerthaus Berlin, Frequenz Festival Kiel and Klangwerkstatt Berlin. He is currently working as an Artistic Research Associate at the KreativInstitut.OWL.
