Biography

Panos Ghikas is a London-based composer, improviser and producer. His output encompasses concert music, free improvisation, interdisciplinary collaborations, film music and pop production. He is a member of the surrealist post-pop band The Chap and has collaborated with Jennifer Walshe and Matmos. His work has been featured in over 60 releases (Universal, EMI, Lo Recordings (UK), Ghostly International (US) and Staatsakt (DE), Diatribe (IE), and has been performed and broadcast internationally.

What a night! 🎶
On November 14, Maschinenhaus became a hotspot for Irish culture with three incredible acts: @ruthmac__ , @go_mahhh, and @toshin_music. 🍀🎤

Part of @zeitgeist_irland_24 , the event featured unique music videos created during the Shoot It Yourself workshops by @shootityourself_berlin and supported by @musicboardberlin and followed by stunning live performances.

Special thanks to Andrew Tyrell (@irlembberlin) and Stephanie von Beauvais for kicking off a celebration of Irish music in Berlin! 💚🇮🇪
