Martin Hommel is a music journalist, has hosted his own radio shows and podcasts, and has worked for BBC 6 Music, detektor.fm and Musikexpress. Since 2023, he has led the Ein Song Reicht project, and is responsible the entire implementation of it. Together with Melanie Gollin, he developed the highly acclaimed “Wo ist hier der Krach?” campaign, which advocates for more diversity and a stronger presence of independent artists on public radio. He loves post-punk, weird pop, anything that sounds bad-tempered – and thinks (too) much about Paul McCartney.
