Erika is a multi-disciplinary designer and researcher seeking out intersections on topics related to embodiment and clothing materialities, as well as human/non-human interaction. Born in the U.S. at the foothills of the Appalachians, she completed a degree in EU Politics before moving to Berlin in 2012 and settling into a career in fashion shortly after. She is currently finalizing her BA in fashion design with a research project on virtual eco-activism at the University of the Arts (UdK).
