Lucie is a lead music negotiator, navigator and strategist, specialising in digital music rights, innovation and music IP.  Lucie has negotiated international relations and commercial deals on all ‘sides’ of the stakeholder table and led Policy and Public Affairs at Government level. 

Lucie started her music career at an iconic music publisher indie, working subsequently for PRS for Music, Major rights-holders and a range of DSPs including Deezer and Bandcamp. Lucie provides expertise to enable growth through IP and innovation; currently acting for platforms in games, AV and new technologies using music. 

Representing at sector-level, Lucie is the former CEO of the UK’s performing artist organisation the FAC and is currently Chief Innovation and Government Affairs officer for the UK’s entertainment retail body ERA, focusing on new technologies, IP frameworks and creative industry affairs. She is an advocate for equal opportunities, human rights, and ethical innovation.

Dr. Anita Jóri is a postdoc research associate at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. Jóri’s research and publications focus on the discursive and terminological aspects of electronic (dance) music culture. She is one of the curators of CTM Festival’s Discourse programme.

She is also the author of the monograph *The Discourse Community of Electronic Dance Music* (transcript, 2022) and one of the editors of the books *The New Age of Electronic Dance Music and Club Culture* (Springer, 2020), *Musik & Empowerment* (Springer, 2020) *Musik & Marken* (Springer, 2022) and *Living at Night in Times of Pandemic.
