Biography

Nono Gigsta (she/they) gets as much joy dancing to music as she does reflecting on it - either as an academic researcher, DJ, producer, promoter, radio host and zine-maker. Having performed internationally under the moniker Gigsta since 2015, Nono started avoiding flights altogether in March 2019 and later joined the campaigner network Stay Grounded. She’s been vocal about climate justice issues related to hyper-mobility in the arts via her newsletter (https\://nonogigsta.substack.com) and is regularly invited to host workshops and participate on panels.

Meet Prince Emrah (she/he)—a powerhouse of talent and creativity in Berlin’s performance art scene! 🎭✨ A professional belly dancer, dance trainer, makeup artist, DJ, and occasional drag queen, Emrah has made a name for herself as a presenter of iconic community events like the “Black & Brown Cabaret Show,” “Whoriental Festival,” and “Gayhane” parties. 🌈
