Formella

The London-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer champions left-field techno, dub, UK bass, and acid bass with a seductive edge – but loves to bounce between genres, her music connected by a consistent energy, rather than a specific genre. Since 2020, Formella’s played regular shows at Ankali in Prague, Bristol, festivals in Germany and Belgium and toured India.

In 2024 she started a residency on Prague-based radio station Shella and released her first single “dripstep,” a culmination of her diverse influences with elements of grime, trip, dub, bass and breaks with a distinct Formella flavour. Formella is also deeply committed to fostering community and collaboration. She hosts workshops for FLINTA\* music producers, creating spaces for them to connect and collaborate, eventually culminating in a compilation release. Additionally, she’s an active member at OYE Records, where she sells vinyl and plays a key role in the relaunch of the record label.​
