Florian Drücke studied law in Berlin and Toulon. He started at BVMI in 2006 as legal advisor, became managing director in 2010, and chairman of the board in 2017. He regularly appears as an expert in committees of the Bundestag and the European Parliament, is the author of numerous specialist articles, was co-editor of the standard work "Handbuch der Musikwirtschaft" (Handbook of the Music Industry), is a member of a number of socio-politically relevant committees, and is co-president of the Franco-German Cultural Council.
