Biography
Andreas Gajewski is a 33 year old trailer music composer from Paderborn who currently lives in Düsseldorf. His musical journey began at the early age of six with a nylon guitar and evolved quickly into a passion. He always knew that music will be a big part of his life – so he decided to learn more about the technical side as well. In 2013, during his education as an audio-engineer/sound designer he fell in love with hybrid orchestral music and did his first, semi-professional steps as a “composer”. He has written music in different fields of work such as short movies, apps, little games and more. But even though he was nominated twice at the “Soundtrack Cologne 13” awards, and reached 2nd place at the ADAM Audio contest, the lack of job opportunities – and networking skills – led to nearly quitting his dream to be a film composer.
To give it one last try, he decided to focus on trailer music which quickly evolved into an even bigger passion. Thanks to co-operation with labels from Europe, the US & UK (Cavalry, Phantom Power, Avalon Zero, A&G etc.) he was able to reach personal milestones pretty quickly with music syncs in campaigns such as "Star Wars: The Mandalorian", "Aquaman 2", "Call of Duty" and more.
