Which platform is Most Wanted: Music using this year?

As we are producing our conference this year in a hybrid format, we are using Swapcard as the event platform. With Swapcard we are showing our programme online to everyone who is interested in music business wise. One of our main focuses is laying on the networking tools that Swapcard offers. They allow online or on-side attendees to find new contacts with the built-in AI of Swapcard, write to attendees, speakers or exhibitors or even schedule on-side or online meetings with each other. With Swapcard attendees have the free choice to view the content or use the networking benefits via web- or mobile-app.

How to orientate through the platform?

Attendees
The Attendees button integrates the full attendees list. The list is ranked by the professional affinity you’ve got with each attendee. Filters allow you to aim a particular audience regarding their field or job title. The searching tool helps you to find the right person. You can search by name, field, job title or company.

Programm
The Programme button integrates the full programme of the event. You can filter it by type of sessions, topics, places or sponsors. Each session can be bookmarked to get a notification 10min before it starts.

Exhibitors
Get access to the full exhibitors list and access to:
The description of the company
The team members to connect with them
The booth location
The social networks of the company
The website of the company

My Event
My event summarizes all the sessions and exhibitors bookmarked as well as all the attendees you are connected with for this event.

 

How to get access to the app?

Each attendee receives an email inviting to join the event.
If you could not find it, please go to the web-app login or download the IOS app or Android app and try to login with the email that was used to register to the event.
Once the email is recognized, a « magic link » is sent by email allowing you to set up your own password.

 

How to connect with someone?

There are two ways:

By request:
Once you click on someone’s profile, the button « Connect » appears allowing you to send a request. As soon as the person accepts it, you’ll get access to his details.

By QR code:
Once you scan someone’s badge, you’ll get access to his profile and details immediately. There is not request that needs to be accepted

 

How can I get access to someone’s details?

To get access to someone’s details you need to be connected with him. (By connexion request or Scan)

 

Where can I find the contacts I’m connected with?

Click on the « Contacts » button right at the bottom of the app. You can then add tags and notes to these contacts that can be exported to your CRM.

 

Can I export all my contacts?

For sure! Visit the web app and click on Contacts > Export contacts. You’ll receive a CSV file by email immediately.

 

How long will the video content be available?

The videos will be available in the platform a complete month after the event ends. You can always find the content on our Youtube channel: Link

 

What happens if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it via the login page. Insert your email address and click on Send me a magic link. You will receive a link to reset your password on your mailbox.

 

I couldn’t find my question. Where to get more information about the app?

How to get a ticket for MW:M21

Please follow the link to our ticketing supplier Eventbrite:
https://www.eventbrite.de/e/most-wanted-music-2021-tickets-158887539909

After your registration to the event you will first receive an email from Eventbrite, and a moment after, an email from Swapcard with a “magic sign-in link” to access the event platform. This email will be sent from noreply@swapcard.com. If you didn’t received it, please have a look at your spam folder.

If you still can’t find it, please go to https://app.swapcard.com and try to enter with your email address that was used to register with Eventbrite. As you might not have a password already, please click on “Send me a magic sign-in link” to receive an email with a new link to set your password. If you are still having any problems entering the event, please get in touch with us via support@mwm-berlin.de.

Push notifications ensure that you’ll never miss the sessions and meetings you booked. Live updates keep you in the loop throughout the event. Simply look for the bell icon at the top right (desktop) or at the bottom of the app.

How to get access to the event?

Each attendee receives an email with an invitation and access information to join the event.
If you can not find the email, please go to the web-app login (https://app.swapcard.com/) on a desktop computer or alternatively download the IOS app (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/most-wanted-music-2021/id1537428889) or Android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swapcard.apps.android.mostwantedmusic) and try to login with the email that was used to register to the event on Eventbrite.

Once the email is recognized, a “Magic sign-in link” is sent from the following address noreply@swapcard.com allowing you to set up your own password and profile. Important: Please also check your spam folder.

My Event
My event summarises all the sessions, exhibitors, videos and giveaways bookmarked by you as well as all the attendees you are connected with for this event.

Programme
The Programme button integrates the full program of the event. You can filter it by type, tags or location of the sessions. Each session can be bookmarked to get a notification 10 min before it starts. Some sessions are limited, so be quick to register.

MW:M Live
Here you can find the programme of MW:M Live.

MW:M Satellites
The Satellites button includes the different satellite-events and further information regarding date, location and participants.

MW:M Cinema
Watch interesting video streams from our partner Sooner, only available for a short amount of time.

Speakers
Check out the full speakers list, filter by professions and connect with speakers, who interest you.

Artists
See which artists are performing where and when.

Exhibitors
Get access to the full exhibitors list and engage with international brands and companies as well as with their team members.

Attendees
The Attendees button integrates the full attendees list. The list is ranked by the professional affinity you’ve got with each attendee. Filters allow you to aim a particular audience regarding their field of work, expert knowledge, interests or base country. You can also search by using the searching tool to find the right person. Pro tipp: Watch out for the AI matching.

How can I interact with other attendees or speakers at MW:M21?

There are a variety of ways you can interact with other attendees: making connections, messaging, video conferencing, exhibitor booths, booking meetings with other attendees, Q&A chats in live sessions, and more! Be sure to check our “Attendees” tab and use the filters to connect with people!

How can I get access to someone’s details?

Once you click on someone’s profile, the button «Connect» appears allowing you to send a request. As soon as the person accepts it, you’ll get access to further details of the person.

Where can I find the contacts I’m connected with?

Click on the «Contacts» button right at the bottom of the app or on the «Profile» button at the top right in the web app on desktop computers and select “My contacts”. You can then add tags and notes to these contacts.

Can I export all my contacts?

Of course! Visit the app or the web app on desktop computers and click on «Contacts/My contacts» > Export contacts. You’ll receive a CSV file by email immediately.

Where can I see all my messages?

You can see all of your messages under the “messages” icon on the top of the web app page.

How do I add a bio to my profile?

The biography will allow you to introduce yourself in a few words. To add a bio, go to the “My Profile” tab and then click Edit in the Bio box. Describe yourself in a few words then go back to save.

How do I add a photo to my profile?

Go to “My profile” tab then select the first “edit” button on the top right and then click on the “+” button.

How do I link my social media to my profile?

You can add multiple social media platforms to your profile:

1. Go to the “My Profile” tab.
2. Click on the box with your name to get to your profile then click on “Edit” in the Social Media box.
3) Add the usernames of the social media you want to add to your profile. There’s no need to save, just go back.

How do I manage my email notifications?

To manage how you receive email notifications, go to “My profile” tab then “Settings” tab, then in the “Email notifications” section, you can activate/deactivate the following notifications:

1. Reminder of unseen activities
2. Reminder of the requests you haven’t replied to yet
3. Information from the event organizer

What happens if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it via the login page: https://app.swapcard.com/

Insert your email address and click on “Send me a magic link”. You will receive a link by this email address noreply@swapcard.com to reset your password on your mailbox.

Can I modify my interface language?

Yes. Go to “My profile” then click on “Settings” and select the language of your choice.

I am experiencing streaming/video issues. What can I do?

Please note that Swapcard works best with Chrome or Firefox. If you are experiencing blank pages, streaming issues or app latency, please switch to one of these two browsers if you have been working on another browser. Internet Explorer does not support Swapcard.

Should the video player remain unavailable following a page refresh, it is most likely a security setting on your browser, device, or network blocking access to the content server.

We would recommend trying the following:
1. Try accessing the site from another browser (this gets around any browser settings that could be blocking access.) If you are on a PC you should have access to Edge and if on a Mac it will be Safari
2. Open an Incognito Window and try to access the content through this (this gets around any cached or bad data that could be held in the browser.)
3. Try on a different device (e.g. mobile, if you are viewing on desktop.)
4. Use a different internet connection. A mobile phone with WiFi switched off so it uses mobile data is a good option (this bypasses things like corporate network restrictions or VPNs that may be presenting an issue.)

How long will the video content be available?

The session video streams will be available on Swapcard for a year more or less. The streams that are visible for everyone will always be accessible on our MostWantedMusicBerlin Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/MostWantedMusicBerlin/

Why can't I see any event in my account?

When you log into your account, you may not have access to the event you want to join. Several reasons can explain this:

1) You have not yet registered for our event via Eventbrite using following link: https://www.eventbrite.de/e/most-wanted-music-2021-tickets-158887539909

Perhaps your registration is not complete, remember to check that you have received a registration confirmation and if this is the case, send it to support@mwm-berlin.de so that we can help you.

2) You did not log in with the email used when registering for our event. Make sure to use the same email address when connecting to the application.

Where can I find further information if the used online event platform is GDPR consent

All taken personal data is stored inside our secured ticket supplier Eventbrite and the also secured event platform Swapcard inside the EU. When you register via Eventbrite, an account will be created with all the information that you entered. This account will allow you to access the platform and the attendees’ list to network before, during and after the event.

The chat function does not work proper on the mobile app
