Music, tech and networking: Music Pool x Music Tech Meet-Up

In case you’re not at MW:M Live tonight, we’ve got something for you: the Music Pool x Music Tech Meetup! Yet another opportunity for music, tech and new contacts. We have all the information! For this community evening, Music Pool Berlin and Music Tech Germany join for a meetup at ACUD MACHT NEU. More precisely, musicians and people working in music tech get the chance to discuss and learn more about current music tech developments – and to network, eventually. And here’s all data you need:

What? Music Pool x Music Tech Community Meeting

When? 6th November, starting 7 pm

What to expect?

Four presentations on current topics in the field of music technologies, a Q+A with the presenters to ask your questions, an exhibition of installation and prototypes, a board to post a note what you are looking for or what you want to offer, a DJ set, and time to meet each other over a drink. As a side-event of MOST WANTED:MUSIC 2019, this community evening explores similiar topics. Florian Richling, founder of ForTunes, explores artist empowerment through data analysis; Dr. rer. nat. at Stephan Baumann, Senior Researcher AI for Music at Deutsches Forschungsinstitut für Künstliche Intelligenz, looks at AI tools and music creation and answers the question “Should I even care as a musician?”; Peter Rullmann, founder of Musicards, is interested in how music gets back it’s value by getting a physical medium again; while PORTRAIT XO’s Rania Kim finally explores the possibilities of AI as musician. In other words: This event is the perfect match for all MW:M19 attendees – and everybody interested in innovative technologies such as AI, VR and Blockchain.
