We’re looking for a new Project Manager / Head of for our international showcase festival MW:M Live!
About MW:M Live
MW:M Live is the international showcase festival of the music business conference Most Wanted: Music (MW:M), organized by the Berlin Music Commission. It provides a platform for emerging local and international talent to perform live in front of industry professionals, decision-makers, and music enthusiasts. MW:M Live is an integral part of MW:M, the leading conference for the professional music and creative industries in Berlin.
Your Tasks
Manage the project for MW:M Live 2025.
Develop and implement a detailed project and timeline plan.
Plan and monitor resources and budgets.
Financial administration including public tendering of contracts, invoice control, payment approvals and preparation of reports for funding bodies.
Acquire and collaborate with national and international program partners, such as music export offices, regional pop music funding organizations, agencies, management teams, and labels.
Work closely with the production team and other stakeholders.
Support the selection and coordination of artists (booking).
Coordinate communication with artists, partners, and VIP guests.
Maintain and update the MW:M Live website and marketing materials.
Ensure the smooth execution of the event, including creating a show schedule.
Conduct debriefings and evaluations after the event.
Your Profile
Passion for creative events and the music industry.
Several years of experience in project and event management, preferably in the music or creative industries.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
High resilience and flexibility, even in high-pressure event environments.
Fluent in both German and English, spoken and written.
Familiarity with the Berlin music scene and existing networks is a plus.

Framework
Workload: Approximately 300 hours.
Duration: Preferably from March until the mid of December 2025 (fixed term).
Compensation: Based on personal qualifications on a freelance basis.
