Just as brand-new is our location House of Music, with its cozy rehearsal rooms, where for MW:M Live 20 handpicked artists will perform in front of 150 invited guests. Those are industry professionals like booking agents, managers, A&Rs, event organizers, media, sync and music supervisors. It’s an exciting opportunity – for both the artists and the industry guests – to be discovered or to discover. Stephan Hengst, Director of MW:M, explains how MW:M Live fits in the concept of MOST WANTED: MUSIC:

Among the 20 show acts performing on Wednesday evening, there are artists from Berlin, Germany and Europa: Alex St Joan | Ami Warning | Arionce | Banglist | Ben Barritt | Calcou | Die Sauna | Jackie Moontan | Johnny Kulo | Karl die Große | Kann Karate | Les Enfants Sauvages | Mac Fly | Mola | Nosoyo | Palo G | Ponte Pilas | Shelter Boy | teepee | Wolf & Moon  MW:M Live’s strong line-up of up-and-coming artists has been curated by the showcase hosts: a cross-section of Europe’s most forward-looking music industry organizations: Berlin Music Commission (BMC) with its listen to berlin 2019/20 compilation album; the Live Music Accelerator Berlin, a newly launched initiative from the digital booking platform gigmit; and the British And Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM). Moreover, SoundCzech, music:LX, PopKW, BY-on, and Kreatives Sachsen pitch in their regional acts – such as Alex St Joan and Jackie Moontan from Luxembourg, Shelter Boy from Saxony’s capital city Dresden, or Ami Warning from Munich. One thing’s for sure: There are exactly 20 opportunities to discover “The Next Big Thing”! After a reception, a warm welcome and the live performances, MW:M Live also takes care of your culinary well-being.
