Looking back at Most Wanted: Music 2024 – Sustainability Hub 🌱

One of the first discussions this year featured Linnéa Vågen Svensson, co-founder of Green Operations Europe and head of Greener Events. At the "How can we make live music sustainable amid a climate emergency?" panel, she delivered a powerful message about the urgency of addressing environmental issues in the live music industry.

She reminded us that leadership is key to change, stating:"Somebody needs to make a decision and acknowledge that there is a need to do something… it’s not a priority for them to future-proof the company."

From prioritizing sustainable purchasing to understanding the specific impacts of events – whether it’s travel, food, or energy – the insights shared at MW:M 2024’s Sustainability Hub have sparked important conversations.

It’s clear that as an industry, we have the power to influence change. Now, it’s up to us to take the next step.

What an unforgettable evening! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the exclusive delegate MW:M dinner experience at Panke – a night where connection, creativity, and flavour came together. From mouthwatering meals by @sufra.berlin to the high energy vibe performance by @just.junoo.

Each conversation was a spark of inspiration, every dish a burst of flavour.

Part of @zeitgeist_irland_24 , the event featured unique music videos created during the Shoot It Yourself workshops by @shootityourself_berlin and supported by @musicboardberlin and followed by stunning live performances.

Big shoutout to @impulsbrandenburg – the driving force behind networking, promoting, and advising the socio-cultural, pop music, and festival scenes in Brandenburg! 🎤✨

Their mission? Advocating for better working conditions and amplifying the creative voices of the Brandenburg region. From professional development to meaningful political dialogue, they’re making a real impact! 💪
